Let’s meet GameStop
GameStop began life in 1984, when the PC home video games market was gaining serious traction. They started selling games for the wildly popular Atari 2600, logically progressing to the Nintendo Entertainment System before taking the company public after just seven years’ trading. They now stock an encyclopaedic collection of games for the current and last generation X-Box, Playstation and Nintendo systems along with PC titles and large quantities of hardware and accessories.

How do I check my order status at GameStop?
Tracking your order is easy: Go to Order History / "Orders & Returns". If you placed your online order in a GameStop store, visit the Guest / In-store Orders to find your order.
Then sign in to your account. If you ordered in-store, enter your email address & confirmation number. You'll be able to see your order details and shipping information. After your order ships, GameStop will email you with your tracking information.
Do GameStop sell gift cards?
Gamestop offer both digital and physical gift cards. You can use gift cards, trade credit, or PowerUp Rewards cards to purchase games and more online or in U.S. stores at ThinkGeek and GameStop. Gift cards never expire, so you can use them right away or save them for the next big thing.
Can Gamestop keep me in the loop with pre-order release dates?
GameStop work with publishers to ensure that the most accurate possible release dates appear on their site. Occasionally, publishers run into delays during the production of a game, and the release date changes. Sometimes dates move forward; more often they move back, and they often change more than once.
If a game is scheduled for release far in the future, the vendor may not even give retails a date. In those cases, GameStop rely on the collective wisdom of their buying staff to estimate a date based on their knowledge of the industry and the vendor's history.
