What happens if I want to cancel my membership with 24 Hour Fitness?
You are entitled to a cooling off period of 3 days (5 days in California or Hawaii), meaning that if you notify 24 Hour Fitness within that period after your initial subscription you will receive a full refund.
If you have a monthly payment membership that is not for a specified term, you are entitled to cancel by giving notice in writing, over the phone, or in person at a club. After your request is received, future monthly payments will be stopped and your last month's prepaid dues will be applied.
For monthly schemes of a set period you are not entitled to cancel your membership during the Commitment Period. Specific exceptions may apply. After the Commitment Period, you may cancel by giving notice to 24 Hour Fitness in writing, over the phone, or in person at a Club. Future monthly payments will then cease and your last month's prepaid dues will be applied
Where you have bought a prepaid limited term membership, you are not entitled to cancel your membership or receive a refund. Specific exceptions may also apply. The length of your pre-paid period can be found on the first page of your membership agreement.
Can I transfer my 24 Hour Fitness membership to someone else?
Memberships cannot be transferred from one person to another - not even between family members.
How can I pay my annual renewal at 24 Hour Fitness?
Renewals can be made online with a credit card; at your club with a credit card or check; over the phone with a credit card, or via mail with a check.
Can I put my 24 Hour Fitness membership on hold?
If you’re an established member of good standing they can freeze your membership for several reasons. These include temporary medical conditions that prevent you from exercising; a temporary out-of-area work transfer that takes you more than 25 miles from a 24 Hour Fitness facility; a temporary extended volunteer program that takes you more than 25 miles from a 24 Hour Fitness facility, or a temporary active-duty military transfer or deployment to a location more than 25 miles from a 24 Hour Fitness facility.
Can I pay my membership fees online?
Yes, 24 Hour Fitness let you make online payments, update billing information and change your address using the My24 tool.
